India ranks second, among the diabetic population world-wide. Diabetic patients are diagnosed with a variety of skin conditions among which dryness (Xerosis) scores first with a prevalence up to 80%. Long duration high blood sugar impairs sweat gland function thereby results in reduced skin moisture. This leads to skin breakage (barrio damage) which eventually gives entry to external bacteria causing infections. Thus experts in the healthcare field, felt there was an immeasurable gap in translating knowledge to therapeutic options, availability and accessibility.

This leads to creation of a product that has a preventive benefit on diabetic skin damage.

Our mission is to provide the best skin care possible for Diabetic population as their skin is more prone for Barrier breakage. It is estimated that more than 40% Diabetic population has skin and heel dryness and this barrier damage can lead to infection under the skin. Our innovative product contains specific formulation that will address Diabetic skin problems.

SKIN CARE TIPS FOR DIABETICS :

  • Check you feet everynight with a Hand mirror specifically designed to view foot.
  • Soak in luke warm water for 3-5 minutes every night and follow a simple scrub routine 2 days per week. Always touch and see the temperature of water to be soaked as long duration Diabetes could have led to decreased sensation in the feet.
  • After drying with towel, lock in the moisturiser with Yugen body lotion and leave overnight.
